Garcia, Eaton top SA charge in Pilsen 

Chase to the Investec Cup for Ladies champion Nicole Garcia and Ladies European Tour rookie Melissa Eaton led the South African challenge with a tie for 25^th in the Tipsport Golf Masters in the Czech Republic on Sunday.

Wanna Be A Champion’s Garcia carded rounds of 68, 71 and 70 at Golf Park Pilsen and Eaton from KwaZulu-Natal returned rounds of 73, 65 and 71.

The South African pair joined the bus at four under 209 alongside Sunshine Ladies Tour regular Rebecca Hudson from England, American Beth Allen and Fabienne In-Albon from Switzerland.

LET winner Connie Chen (69-72-70) finished on two under, while Stacy Bregman – a three-time Sunshine Tour winner this season – registered rounds of 72, 70 and 72 for a joint 49th place finish on one over 214.

Meanwhile Hannah Burke fired a flawless final round 64 to seal a maiden victory on 13-under-par 200 in the Ladies European Tour event.
