Putting for Lollies at Royal Cape

2015SLT_CTLO_MayorCPTClinic2Pat Holland from the Mayor of Cape Town Golf Development Centre in Mowbray treated young stars from the Maitland Garden Village Pre-Primary to a putting clinic during the first round of the Cape Town Ladies Open at Royal Cape Golf Club.

The school’s principal Carol Booysen, Ronel Trout from Greenlight Project and Royal Cape member Marie Milne assisted Holland, who took the four- and five-year-olds through the basics of putting.

However, putting for lollies proved the most popular activity on the day.

In fact, the youngsters enjoyed chasing balls into the holes this so much that Booysen wants to enrol the class one of the free golf development clinics at the Mayor of Cape Town Golf Development Centre, which are hosted by the WPGA.
